Product Overview
Landmark shingles use a fiberglass base mat and a wide nailing area to help ensure accurate, consistent installation across a broad range of climates. They're a strip shingle designed to give homeowners a proven, cost-effective roofing option without sacrificing curb appeal.
Landmark is UL Class A fire rated and UL 2218 Class 3 impact resistant. It carries a lifetime limited transferable warranty, a 25-year StreakFighter® algae-resistance warranty, and a 15-year 110 mph wind warranty.

Warranties & Protection
Lifetime Limited Warranty
Covers manufacturing defects for as long as the original owner-occupant owns and resides at the property. Other ownership types (commercial, rental, HOA, and similar) are covered for 40 or 50 years depending on the product line. Transferable once to a subsequent owner.
SureStart Protection (10-Year)
Full replacement cost coverage (materials and labor) for manufacturing defects during the first 10 years after installation, before any prorated reduction applies.
Limited Algae-Resistant Warranty (25-Year)
Covers cleaning or replacement if algae-resistant (AR) shingles develop blue-green algae staining, for up to 25 years when CertainTeed AR-designated hip and ridge accessories are installed. Coverage is limited to 10 years if those accessories aren't used.
Wind Warranty (Upgradeable to 160 mph)
Shingles are warranted against wind blow-off, including gusts, up to 110 mph for the first 15 years, upgradeable to 160 mph when installed with CertainTeed's specified starter strip and hip/ridge accessories.
Integrity Roof System
When a full qualifying system is installed together — underlayment, water-resistant underlayment, starter strip, shingles, ventilation, and hip/ridge accessories — the roof qualifies for an unlimited wind-velocity warranty.
